  • LUNCH IN THE HILLS between the workshop and the milonga, bring a picnic to eat by the river or at the venue, or visit the nearby Harvest Mylor Cafe, or restaurants/cafes in Hahndorf and Aldgate.

  • MILONGA Musica Festejo with Vamos Adelaide Tango Orchestra and guest performances by bandoneonists Rodlofo Caivano and Jamie Gifford, 1:30-5:30pm, Mylor Cotton Hall, corner Strathalbyn Rd and Cross Street, Mylor ($33 pre-book), Tango DJ Rushdy

From Buenos Aires Argentina, Karina and Fabian were raised amidst steep family tango tradition. This is how they found the gateway to express their emotions and creativity through the dance.

Their dance and teaching have a strong emphasis on elegance while maintaining a constant connection between the couple, reflecting their tradition and culture, rather than a sequence of steps.

Karina and Fabian have been teaching and performing for many years with regular appearances in Buenos Aires and different tango festivals around the world.

We are honoured to have them joining our tango community for the weekend!
MUSIC AT THE MUSICA FESTEJO MILONGA - Sunday 30Oct

The Vamos Adelaide Tango Orchestra is a community orchestra that plays regularly for Adelaide's tango dancers. The orchestra will play at various times throughout the afternoon milonga, and will be joined for a tanda by bandoneonists Rodolfo Caivano and Jamie Gifford from Canberra. Rodolfo will also play some bandoneon solos for your listening pleasure. Other tango music by DJ Rushdy.

A note on booking workshops.....

If you are booking as a single follower or leader we will balance the numbers so everyone has a partner at the workshops (but we won't assign partners). We will confirm for you via email when your booking is balanced (it may take a week to get back to you). If we cannot balance your booking, we will let you know and you will receive a full refund, however, an inability to balance your booking could be avoided by booking early.

If you want to book a workshop with a specific dance partner you will need to provide their name (and when they book they will need to provide your name). Otherwise your booking will be classed as a single follower/leader booking.

Private lessons with Karina & Fabian
Karina and Fabian are offering private lessons on Fri 28Oct and Mon 31Oct.
Lessons are $120 for an hour (for a couple or single).
