Waiver / Release of Liability

In consideration of my participation in the Emirates Gridiron League (EGL) football program and related events and activities (the “EGL Program”), I acknowledge and agree that:

1.     The risk of injury to me from participating in the EGL Program is significant, including the potential of severe head injury, paralysis, and death, and, while particular rules, equipment, training, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury exists;

2.     I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Releasees, and I assume full responsibility for my participation in the EGL Program;

3.     I freely agree to comply with any and all EGL Program terms and conditions in connection with my participation EGL Program; and

4.     I, on my own behalf and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby (a) RELEASE AND DISCHARGE the EGL, its affiliates, directors, officers, officials, agents, volunteers, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the EGL Program (collectively, the “Releasees”) from, and (b) INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the Releasees against any and all liabilities, including those with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property incident to my participation in the EGL Program, whether arising from the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, in each case to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP CERTAIN RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT. ACCORDINGLY, I EXECUTE THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.
