Scholarship Application for ITCR Training Network Workshop at GLBIO
The ITCR training network (https://www.itcrtraining.org/) is hosting an interactive workshop with activities and information about:
  • How to increase the reproducibility of analyses and code
  • How to use Git and GitHub for version control 
  • How to conduct code review 
  • How to make a scientific website with automated checks and rendering using OTTR (https://www.ottrproject.org/)
  • Where to find resources to continue learning about these topics after the workshop!
This training session attendees will be capped at the first 30 eligible trainees. Scholarship priority will be given to individuals of underrepresented backgrounds, however this is not required. A limited number of travel scholarships are available based on need, as well as the perceived effort put into this application.

Eligibility:
Trainees who are undergraduates, graduate students, medical students, or postdoctoral fellows are welcome to apply. We expect to select up to 30 attendees for this workshop.

The application process will close Friday, April 7th, 2023 11:59 ET scholarships will be announced the following week. 

Scholarships:
Travel scholarships are available but limited for several workshop attendees and will be supported by the ITCR Training Network (ITN) (https://www.itcrtraining.org/).  Priority will be given to individuals of underrepresented groups and those with financial need. More information on the distributions of the funds will be provided to the selected awardees. We hope to provide funding before the meeting to aid with travel arrangements.
