Description: Under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, this program will prepare CNA students for the state certification exam (included with this class). A student will be required to successfully complete a combination of classroom hours and clinical hours at a nursing home (location-TBD) for a total of 108 hours to take the state certification exam.
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older | verification of a recent Flu vaccination or an exemption | State issued ID | SS card or work permit | High school diploma or working towards HSED | Pass a drug screen & criminal background | $75 registration fee.
Student out-of-pocket expenses: 1-StepTB test and a physical exam- exam/test must have been completed with in 12 months of clinical start date | Flu vaccination or exemption. You will need to have the all documentation and results ready at least 7 days before class begins.
