Grow Your Own-2024-25 School Year
"Thank you for your interest in the Hamblen County "Grow Your Own" / Tomorrow's Teachers Program. HCBOE, in a joint partnership with WSCC and Western Governors University, will provide two years of tuition to selected applicants and will employ student apprentice candidates. Upon graduation from WGU, these newly licensed teachers will work on a five year contract as a condition of the tuition scholarship. If you would like to be considered for the interview process, please complete the following survey. You will be contacted soon in order to schedule an interview for acceptance into the program. Priority will be given to the following areas: Special Education, Secondary Math, Secondary English, and Secondary Science.
