Maple Valley Schools is presenting two options for Return to Learn in the fall. You can find more information on these at www.mvs.k12.mi.us on the Fall 2020 badge. Should the State of Michigan be in Phase 4 or 5 of the MI Safe Start Plan these options will be provided for families, however if Michigan moves to Phase 1-3 of the MI Safe Start Plan, all schools will be fully virtual.

Please fill out this form for each of your students by choosing the plan that fits your family.  Note, we have added several additional pages for multiple children in families, so do not be concerned if after you enter your final child's information you are sent to the end of the survey. This is part of the design.

We need to hear from you by August 10th at 5 pm. If you have not replied to this survey, your student(s) will be added to the Face to Face Option by default.

Parents/Guardians will have the choice to change options for their 6-12 students at semester with building administrator approval and availability. K-5 students may be able to change at the quarter in October based upon teacher availability and administrator approval.

Option 1: Face-to-Face
- Instruction will be delivered in a face-to-face classroom setting and stored on the online learning management system (Google Classroom) to allow for a seamless transition to virtual learning if needed.
- Daily, we will perform deep cleaning and disinfection of school buildings.
- All required components of the Michigan Safe Schools Roadmap will be followed. We will strive to meet as many of the strong recommendations as possible for staff and student safety.
- Technology available for all students. Chromebooks for K-12th grades.

Option 2: Lion's Virtual Learning Program (Google Classroom)
- 100% online curriculum with high student expectations.
- Daily attendance required.
- Daily online interaction and feedback from teachers.
- The choice is recommended if your student cannot tolerate facial coverings.
- Technology available for all students. Chromebooks for K-12th grades.
