Hey hey! I started the 'In The Middle' series to:
● To have an open dialogue about debt & our plans for financial independence.
● To share our stories to hopefully inspire others to start their journeys to build generational wealth.

How did you first discover the FIRE movement/Financial independence?

How much debt did you have when you first started and what was the source of your debt (i.e. student loans, credit cards, car loan, etc.)

What was your breaking point aka "enough is enough" moment that got you on the path to pay off your debt? If you did not have debt, what was the main reason you got started with your FI journey?

How long do you think it will take you to pay off your debt? If you are debt free how long did it take?

How much income were you earning when you started your journey? Did your income change during the journey? Did you take on any side hustles or additional work to pay off your debt. Give an income range if that is more comfortable (i.e. under 6 figures, around 6 figures, mid 70s, etc.).

What are some of the biggest challenges people face when paying off debt?

How did you keep yourself motivated during your debt payoff journey? Please be detailed.

What financial advice would you give to your younger self?

What are some helpful sites, podcasts or books you can suggest to someone on the journey towards financial freedom?
