SFA Twirling Camp Class Selections
FORM DUE BY MONDAY, JULY 1ST!!!! ONLY SELECT 3 CLASSES!!!! 1 CLASS PER TIME PERIOD!!!
Attention Campers: Please select the class you would like to take for each time period and submit. Class selections must be received by Monday, July 1, 2019.

Campers may select classes in different levels. You do not have to sign up for all novice or all intermediate classes, just be sure to only select 1 class for each time period.

Class selections are divided into 3 categories, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. Each camper may select 3 classes. Please be sure you are selecting classes in the correct ability level. We have included a list of fundamentals for each level in order to help you select the appropriate ability level for your twirler.

In hopes of accommodating the many different twirling styles of our campers, we are offering both dance twirl classes and twirl classes for the intermediate and advanced level classes. To help campers better select the best class choice, a description of these two styles has been provided. The advanced level Twirl classes will be designed so that twirlers may use the routine as a solo at competition in lanes.

Dance Twirl: Choreography will include continuous dance movements while twirling and be coordinated with the music. The routine will have combinations of foot work and body work with the baton.

Twirl: Choreography will include baton and bodywork unison. Baton skill, speed and control are the key components with less emphasis on dance.
