Oral appliances should be inspected and rinsed with water prior to each use. Appliances should be worn each evening while sleeping, inserted prior to sleep. Always wear both upper and lower arches together. Never wear individual arches only. Each device comes equipped with a storage case and morning positioner which is to be utilized each morning upon waking for a minimum of ten minutes. While sterilization is not required, daily care should include thoroughly cleaning your device using a regular soft toothbrush, cool or warm water and mild detergent such as orthodontic device cleaners or antibacterial liquid soaps. Rinse thoroughly and dry your appliance completely. Store in the container and leave container open to ensure that the device dries. Daily soaking of your device is not recommended and mouthwash, bleach solutions, denture cleaners or abrasive toothpastes may harm the device. Keep out of reach of small children or pets and store in a cool, dry place not exceeding 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Treatment of sleep apnea with a custom oral appliance can be up to six months in length with the first 90 days being covered by insurance benefits as applicable. After 90 days, Better Sleep Inc. will continue to treat without fees until both comfort and progress have been identified by the doctor. Following that time, all visits will consist of a $35 practice treatment fee. Follow-up visits will be periodic and at the discretion of the doctor. Treatment includes the custom oral appliance, instructions, coordination with staff and scheduled follow-up visits for a duration of at least 90 days. Treatment may include completion of a second home sleep test, provided as a courtesy by Better Sleep Inc. to further determine progress during treatment. Any titration HST is at the recommendation of the doctor, considering follow-up visits and regular compliance with oral device.

A manufacturer defect warranty of 3 years is provided with each oral appliance. All Medicare appliances have a warranty of 5 years. Manufacturer's warranty includes any issues that occur during use but exclude lost, stolen, broken as a result of dropping or animal tampered with appliances.
