Introduction
The Abbotsford Downtown Business Association (ADBA) is creating a Placemaking and Event Strategy for Downtown Abbotsford. Over the next month we want to hear from you - our property owners, merchants, community leaders, visitors, and other interested partners.

Through your input, we hope to understand how existing streets and sidewalks, and local events are used by businesses and the community. Your local expertise will also help us identify opportunities to improve and enhance the vibrancy of downtown, and welcome more people to the area.
What is Placemaking?
Placemaking includes all of the special elements in downtown that make it unique. Things like our beautiful murals, local events, creative benches, the box park, the design of business storefronts, and the actual businesses that all contribute to a sense of place in our downtown.

Our placemaking strategy will build upon the existing features that make Downtown Abbotsford what it is today. And so we will be looking for opportunities to integrate some of the amazing design features in our area, and create an even stronger brand and sense of place that attracts visitors.
How to Get Involved?
Please help us by filling out the following survey, which we estimate will take around 10 minutes to complete. The survey will be active until midnight on the 8th July 2022. This survey is designed for BIA Members. If you are part of the wider ADBA community, please fill out this survey here: https://forms.gle/V9eqMm6FoUtkRPeSA

We thank you in advance for your time, perspectives, and feedback - your answers will help inform our strategy.  Should you have any questions feel free to contact the ADBA’s coordinating consultant at: engagement@cityinsightsco.com
