VentureKids 'Wiki Inspire' program

VentureKids wants to bring greater diversity to Wikipedia, one of the most-visited English websites in the world.

It's easy for people of colour and women to fall through the cracks, which inspired us to create the 2021 Inspire campaign, which was featured in the Toronto Star. This project is focused on creating Wikipedia pages about underrepresented Canadians who are STEAM (scientists, engineers, technologists, artists and mathematicians) leaders.
