President
Duties:
• Presides at all meetings of the membership
• Calls/presides at Board of Directors meetings and Executive committee
• Appoints special committees as they deem necessary
• Appoints standing committees

President Nominee
Elected Past President
Duties:
• Serves as Parliamentarian
• Represents past leadership
• Offers experience and information
• Actively contributes to the discussions

Nominee can be any individual who has served as President of SETC.

Vice President of Administration
Duties:
• Organizes all reports from Committees, Divisions, States
• Leads Administration Advisory Council
• Responsible to the corporation

Duties:
• Plans and organizes convention workshops and events with central office staff
• Leads Services Advisory Council
• Understands all aspects of the organization
• Shows broad knowledge of theatre

• Team player/leader
• Comfortable with ‘big picture’
Vice President of Services Nominee
Vice President of Finance/Treasurer
Duties:
• Represents the membership’s financial interests
• Reports finances to the corporation
• Member Endowment and Finance Committees
• Maintains accounts and investments

Qualities:
• Cross-referencing financial reports
• Detail-oriented
• Meticulous
Vice President of Finance/Treasurer Nominee
Secretary
Duties:
• Responsible to the corporation
• Strong verbal skills
• Creates the legal record of the corporation
• Good listener

Qualities:
• Coordinates development of minutes
• Files/signs reports as necessary
Secretary Nominee
Vice President of Equity & Inclusion
The VPEI can be self-nominated or nominated by a third party.

Duties:
• Provides leadership and oversight to SETC’s commitment to equity and inclusion.
• Helps to create an inclusive environment for all SETC participants
• Supervises the Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council
• Chairs of any committees that are inclusion-focused

• Strong leadership skills,
• Communication skills,
• Familiarity of SETC's history, goals, vision, and mission
• Works collaboratively and educationally with diverse constituencies

Will review all nominees and develop the ballot that will be presented to SETC membership at the 2025 Business Meeting

Suzanne M. Davis Award
The Suzanne M. Davis Memorial Award was established to honor one individual each year for distinguished service to SETC over a number of years and is presented during the annual SETC Convention awards banquet. Administration of this award is assigned to the Nominations Committee, with the final choice made by vote of the Board of Directors.
