Hello Campers!

Here’s some important stuff to know, and then we are going to collect some information from you.

* The campsite is laid out with very little Car or RV Camping, which is generally located nearer the entrance to the site. Most of the area, and the prettiest campsites/ ones closest to the lake, are accessible by foot trails (which can accommodate the small ATV they have, but likely not sedans or many types of cars).

This means - there is not much Car and RV Camping (we estimate only 20% can fit), and choosing to camp with your vehicle will then limit you to one of those sites.
*** Please be sure to fill out the Driver Parking Count doc, so we can help manage demand and communicate with you to try to avoid logjams on arrival! If everyone wants to camp with their RV or car, we may have to do first-come first-serve.

* Regular (non-car or RV) campers have several options to load in. You may drive over to your campsite (or as close as you can get) and unload, and then return your vehicle to the lot. You may wait for a (fun) ride in the ATV with your gear, on a first-come first-serve basis. Or you may hike in with your stuff, if it's not too heavy or far. Until the parking lot is full, most will be able to walk over and access your vehicle as you need, in the lot or by the gate.

* We STRONGLY encourage you to carpool. There are way more of us than there are convenient parking spaces. Later arrivals or those driving alone may need to park elsewhere off-site. People needing a ride - please consult the Drivers Parking Count Doc!

* There is running water on site (no need to pack it in), and some showers.

* Propane camp stoves are ok at campsites. Due to fire danger, there will only be one central campfire and grills. Please don't make any fires!

* Please plan to pack out your trash to the local dump: Laytonville Transfer Station and Recycling at 1825 Branscomb Rd. It closes at 4pm!
