20 for 2020 Near Space Balloon Launch is a semester-long STEM project for schools, youth organizations, or other groups from Alamance County NC and surrounding areas. This event is being coordinated by the Alamance Makers Guild and STEAM Junction in partnership with NC Near Space Research and other area organizations. The event will culminate with the launch of at least 20 Student Built Near Space Balloons at the 2020 Maker Faire Burlington event in Downtown Burlington tentatively scheduled for Saturday May 2nd 2020.
