What is the "Performance Clause" as listed in the Syllabus?

Placement in ensembles is based on the sole discretion of the Band Director. Students will be placed in ensembles to fit the needs of the group (example: If Trumpet Choir needs another trumpet player, a Trumpet player from Jazz Band may be assigned to fill the role). Participation in these groups will be assessed in the students rehearsal/participation grade in the class where they are assigned. The goal is that all students are active members in the program and are committed to the success of each group
