We, the undersigned, believe all students should have access to quality health coverage. We oppose UC Berkeley's new SHIP plan for the 2019-2020 academic year, particularly the disproportionate and inequitable impact on some of our most vulnerable community members! We call on SHIP to reduce out-of-pocket expenses and ensure we are not harmed by losing our health care providers due to Blue Shield's network of providers. We demand representation in future decision-making processes that impact our health and health insurance.
