Survey may be completed at any time throughout the year..
New classes are added in each quarter and applications must be received TWO MONTHS prior to the start of the next quarter to be considered.  DACE teachers must go through the DJUSD hiring process which includes fingerprinting (at the employee's expense), submission of a recent TB test, and completion of mandated trainings.  DACE Community Interest teachers are currently paid an hourly rate of $25.92 per instructional hour regardless of class enrollment.  DACE Community Interest teachers are NOT Independent Contractors.

At this point, all classes are offered in person.  Applications for virtual classes will be considered on a case by case basis.
