Using data and analytics from Advanced Metering Infrastructure for reports
About this survey
The survey's focus is on data use from AMI systems. The survey's goal is to gain information about the common  needs of water agencies for 3 to 5 key data reports generated from AMI systems. The responses from the survey will assist in development of routine AMI-generated data reports.

Who is the target participant in this survey?
Staff at water agencies who work with AMI metering data and generate routine reports from the data. The reports may be used for water system operations, monitoring, or maintenance. Some examples of uses of AMI data reports include temporal comparisons and tracking trends in: water supply, demand, use-sector consumption, water loss, meter maintenance, and customer efficiency or excessive use, or other needs.

What are: "routinely generated metering data reports from AMI"?
Reports with data generated directly from an AMI system that contain specific information about the water system commonly  used by water staff for internal and external reporting. For example, monthly or annual data reports to management, directors, customers, and regulators.
