Dash Corps Community Action Project RFP
Dash Corps is a community leadership program through the Office of Civic and Community Engagement at Wake Forest University. Students will engage in four month long action projects with community organizations in Winston-Salem. Over the course of the fall semester (October-December) projects are led and scoped by student leaders in coordination with a representative from each organization. Organizations should expect to meet with their student groups once a month in the Fall. During the spring (January-April), students are working actively with the organizations to complete a capacity building project. In April, the students make final presentations of their work to community partners, faculty, staff, and peers. As part of the program, community organizations commit to host a tour of the organization, provide an orientation in November, meet with student groups every other week throughout the spring semester (mid-January to mid-April), provide ongoing feedback to the student groups, and attend the final presentation.

We are looking for project proposals now and will pair organizations with student teams in mid October . The main work with your organization will begin in the late fall or in January depending on the project scope with anticipated completion in early April. Student teams are expected to dedicate a collective 75-100 hours to the project over the course of the program.  As you have questions or want further information please email Victoria Latham (lathvg16@wfu.edu )
