WSB Year-End Demonstration 2024
Westside School of Ballet Year-End Demonstration 

For students in the following levels: 
Pre-Primary, Primary A, B & C, Level 1, Level 2, Jazz Levels 2/3/3+, Boys Ballet and Teen Ballet.

Performance: 
2pm on Sunday June 2, 2024 at JAMS

John Adams Middle School (JAMS)

Studio Rehearsal: 
Saturday June 1, 2024 at Westside School of Ballet (between 2:30-5:00pm, times listed in registration form)    

Theatre Rehearsal: 
Sunday June 2, 2024 at JAMS (between 9:30am-1:00pm, specific group times TBD) 

On Saturday April 6, 8:15am-1:00pm, there will be an informational open house under the parking lot tent at Westside, where families can ask questions about the performance.

Performance is a part of the education of a dancer.
This Demonstration provides the student an introduction to the stage.

Participation Fee: $125.00 per student (Fee includes 2 General Admission Tickets plus costume rental). 

We look forward to providing our dancers and their families a wonderful experience!

If you would like to purchase additional tickets, they will be available at the front desk for $20 each. 

Additional tickets must be purchased at the front desk ONLY.

Additional tickets are limited and are available first-come, first-served. These tickets will go on sale at the front desk on March 1.

Dress rehearsal will take place on Saturday June 1 at the studio, 2:30-5:00pm.

There will also be a theatre rehearsal before the 2pm performance on Sunday June 2. The timeframe is tentatively 9:30am-1:00pm. Your child will be assigned a rehearsal time during this window.

Costumes will be provided in a labeled Ziplock bag at the studio rehearsal on Saturday June 1. 

You will take the costume home with you after the studio rehearsal.

On Sunday June 2, students must arrive IN COSTUME (details in next section) at John Adams Middle School. 

If your child arrives on the day of the performance without their costume, they will not be permitted to perform. 

Headpieces will be provided on the day of the performance.

If your child's costume and headpiece are not returned to Westside Ballet by the last day of the semester on June 9, 2024, you will automatically be charged a $100 replacement fee.

Westside Ballet will NOT be providing tights or ballet shoes for the performance.

Students must wear clean tights for the performance with no holes or runs. 

Ballet shoes should be clean with drawstrings tied and tucked in.

Students must arrive at the theatre on Sunday June 2 performance-ready.

Neat performance hair, clean tights and shoes. 

Girls: Properly secured in a ballet bun. Families will be sent a PDF of a hair tutorial. Short hair should be pinned back away from the face and neck. 

Boys: Neatly groomed/combed/brushed.

A professional videographer and photographer will be capturing the performance. 

Links to the video and photos will be emailed to families. 

Cell phone use in the auditorium is strictly prohibited. No photos, videos or flash photography is permitted for the safety of the dancers and in consideration of other audience members.
