You are eligible to obtain a certificate as a substitute teacher or para substitute if you meet any of the following criteria:
If you are at least 19 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass a ParaPro test.
OR
If you have an associates degree or 60 college credit hours or a Bachelor’s Degree
OR
If you currently hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) *including retirees

Sub Training will be provided on the following topics:
Curriculum
Classroom Management
School Safety
District and Building Operations
