The News Lens (hereafter TNL) is a Taiwanese independent online media founded in 2013. Currently, they provide services in Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese. Since 2015, a media group made up by ten media brands was founded, and currently, more than 2.5 billion of readers around the world visit their platforms every month. 

Mario Yang, the co-founder and the TNL Group’s Chief Content Officer, will make his first visit to Japan in this November. His popular podcast “Drink with MARIO” aired in Taiwan, for the first time, will launch in Japan. As a special event, an interaction-based talk-show will take place in the TNL’s Japan headquarter in Yokohama!

台湾が誇る半導体企業TSMCが熊本工場を作る計画や、2016年日本大手会社シャープが台湾のホンハイに買収される以外にも、日本の大企業が海外との関わりが増えてきました。日本のマーケットはかつての高度成長期から、目に見える衰退が進んでいます。世界中優秀の人材は日本の大企業より外資系の会社へ流れる傾向もありました。アジア最も親日国に言われた台湾は、過去30年間も働き方の改革に直面しました。改革例として、今の日本に参考できるものが多い国です。

この度は台湾独立系媒体The News Lens Media Groupのコンテンツ長Mario Yang氏が日本ビジネスメディアPIVOTチーフ・グローバルエディター竹下隆一氏を招いて、旧媒体業界出身から新時代媒体を作り上げた二人が観察した、日本、台湾と世界の職場、キャリアに対しての考え方や職場文化の違いについて、トークイベントを開催します。
