Pack Leader Application
Panther Prowl is a transition program that creates a comfortable and exciting environment for students to make new friends, explore campus, learn how to be successful in college, and kick-start their journey at DU! Pack Leaders help to guide students in small groups called "packs" throughout this experience. If you would like to apply to be one of our FANTASTIC PACK LEADERS for Panther Prowl 2024, apply here before Friday, Feb 2nd, 2024 at noon! Please review the dates in which you will need to be available in order to apply:

Pack Leader Meet and Greet: Sunday, March 10 @ 5:30PM
Pack Leader Info Session: Sunday, April 14 @ 5:30PM
Pack Leader Summer Training: August 23-28
Panther Prowl: August 29 - September 2

Pack Leader Major Duties & Responsibilities: Facilitate a small group of first year students (max around 20 students). Encourage positive interactions within the group. Acquaint new students with campus services, activities and facilities. Assist with various aspects of program implementation. Foster the development of Davenport University pride. Serve as a positive role model for students. Complete a formal evaluation of the Panther Prowl program. Attend mandatory Pack Leader training prior to program. Attend all necessary meetings with Student Life staff.
                                                                                                                                                                                    
Preferred Skills, Education and Other Requirements: Excellent communication skills. Ability to relate to students, faculty, staff, administrator and community members. Ability to work as an effective and productive team member. Strong organizational skills. Flexibility. Commitment to Davenport University. Demonstrated interest in serving and helping others. Commitment to diversity. 2.5 minimum GPA at time of application. Enrolled in classes for Fall 2024. Good disciplinary standing with Davenport University. Please note: Pack Leaders cannot be an RA due to schedule conflicts.

Please note the time frame to apply to be a Pack Leader has passed. If you are interested in being a Pack Leader, we would still love for you to apply but submissions for the position will now be considered on an "as needed" basis.
