Description of Responsibilities and Expectations
Thank you for your interest in becoming an OSF Technology Advocate! This volunteer program offers you the opportunity to actively shape the future of the Open Science Framework (OSF) by sharing feedback, participating in research activities, and helping to improve our tools and services.
As an OSF Technology Advocate, you may be invited to:
- Participate in user interviews to share your insights and experiences.
- Beta test new features and provide feedback before public release.
- Complete surveys to help us better understand user needs.
- Provide feedback on proposed updates to OSF tools and services.
- Collaborate on open science research initiatives led by the Center for Open Science (COS).
- And many more!
What You Can Expect:
- Advocates are expected to participate in at least one event or study per year (approximately 30 minutes). You will be notified of opportunities and can choose which activities you want to participate in.
- While your contributions are greatly appreciated, participation is voluntary, and there is no direct reward at this time. Advocates will be formally recognized in future COS resources.
- You will join a collaborative group of advocates dedicated to improving open science tools and services.
