2023 Botanica Art Exhibit Entry Form
CALL FOR ENTRIES. Botanica 2023, presented by  Brookside Gardens and the Botanical Art Society of the National Capital Region, will run from Monday, June 12 – Monday, July 10, 2023. 

The theme of this year’s show is Edible Plants: Beautiful and Healthy and submitted works must fit the category. Entries accepted until Friday, April 14, 2023.  Applications are accepted from students and instructors of BGSBAI, and members of BASNCR. There is no fee to apply. Applicants may submit up to four paintings and four items for bin work. Mediums accepted for original artwork include watercolor, colored pencil, graphite, or pen and ink. Entries will be reviewed by a committee and applicants will be notified by Friday, May 12, 2023.  

Important dates: 
  • Monday, June 12, from 9:30am – 12:00 pm: Installation of exhibition.
  • Sunday, June 18 from 2:30pm – 4:00pm: Opening reception in the Brookside Gardens Visitor Center.
  • Monday, June 12, through Sunday, July 10: Botanica exhibition runs.
