1. Conduct
All players are expected to maintain high standards of conduct both on and off the field. This includes showing respect to teammates, coaches, opponents, referees, and all sponsors/partners associated with the club. Behaviour unbecoming of a Solent Thrashers player, including any actions that may harm relationships with sponsors/partners, or bring the Club in disrepute, will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the team. Any form of bullying, harassment, or unsportsmanlike behaviour is strictly prohibited.
2. Payment of Subs
Players are responsible for paying an annual subscription fee of £285 (or £240 for students). Full payment of this balance is due by 1st April 2025, unless agreed with the Club. These payments are essential to cover club expenses and ensure the smooth operation of the team. Failure to pay subs on time will result in the player being added to the BAFA Debtors List, which will prevent registration with any other BAFA club. The club may also pursue legal action to recover any monies owed.
3. Use of Club Equipment
Players are provided with club equipment as needed for training and games. It is expected that all equipment will be used responsibly, only for its intended purpose, and returned in good condition. Any damage to or loss of equipment due to misuse may result in the player being liable for repair or replacement costs.
4. Attendance and Commitment
Regular attendance at training sessions and games is expected. Players should inform coaches in advance if they are unable to attend any session or game. Failure to notify coaches of unavailability may result in gameday eligibility being removed at the discretion of the Head Coach. Commitment to the team and continuous effort to improve skills is expected of all players and coaches.
5. Amendments to Club Policies
The club reserves the right to modify policies or terms as needed. Players will be notified of any changes in advance, and continued participation implies acceptance of the revised terms.
6. Agreement
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms of this contract and agree to abide by them for the duration of my time with Solent Thrashers.
