The Fast & The Furriest® Sponsorship Form

The Fast & The Furriest® will take place on Saturday, June 3rd.  Join us in helping us raise funds for pets in need in the community.  The event includes a 5K & 10K race, dog walk, pet festival, free vaccination clinic, pet contests, vendor tent, live music, food trucks and more at Brown Square Park!  Virtual and in person options available. If you are interested in sponsoring the event, please fill out the information below.

Corporate sponsorships have always been a critical piece in raising the much-needed funds to support the animals in our area.  Funds raised through the event support the shared mission of Animal Services and Verona Street Animal Society including:

  • Reunite lost pets with their owners
  • Create incentives for adopting shelter pets and provide fosters with supplies
  • Minimize the numbers of stray and unwanted animals entering the shelter
  • Shelter enrichment items
  • Supports healthy choices for pet owners in underserved neighborhoods
  • Ensure appropriate medical care and diagnostic testing is available for pets served by Rochester Animal Services (RAS) (I.e. heartworm, feline leukemia virus, feline immunodeficiency virus, canine parvovirus)
  • Subsidization of spay and neuter surgeries

These are literally life-saving activities and we value your support in providing them to the 3,500 animals impounded at RAS and hundreds of owned pets in need throughout the community each year.

As a Sponsor of The Fast & The Furriest® 2023, held at Rochester Animal Services (“the Event”), I agree to the following terms and conditions: 

Sponsorship form and payment of fee (if providing financial support) must be received by April 30, 2023 for inclusion of your name or business on all printed promotional materials. Sponsorship payments are non-refundable.

As a Sponsor of The Fast & The Furriest® 2023, held at Rochester Animal Services (“the Event”), I agree to the following terms and conditions: 

Sponsor shall receive the sponsorship benefits set forth on the Sponsorship Recognition Plan corresponding to the level of sponsorship selected. Sponsor agrees that these sponsorship benefits constitute good and valuable consideration for its sponsorship fees.

As a Sponsor of The Fast & The Furriest® 2023, held at Rochester Animal Services (“the Event”), I agree to the following terms and conditions: 

The Event will be held rain or shine. In the event that the Event does not take place, Sponsor’s sponsorship fee as set forth above shall be treated as a tax-deductible donation to the Verona Street Animal Society, hereinafter “VSAS”, and will not be refunded.

As a Sponsor of The Fast & The Furriest® 2023, held at Rochester Animal Services (“the Event”), I agree to the following terms and conditions: 

If the event is not able to be held in-person a virtual event will be held and promised deliverables will be changed to virtual as see fit.

As a Sponsor of The Fast & The Furriest® 2023, held at Rochester Animal Services (“the Event”), I agree to the following terms and conditions: 

Sponsors agree that any information provided by VSAS or the City of Rochester, hereinafter “City”, in regards to the Event is considered confidential, and therefore under no circumstances will a Sponsor disclose any information, written and/or spoken, to other Sponsors.

As a Sponsor of The Fast & The Furriest® 2023, held at Rochester Animal Services (“the Event”), I agree to the following terms and conditions: 

VSAS and the City are not responsible for any damage to or loss of Sponsor’s goods or property during the Event.

As a Sponsor of The Fast & The Furriest® 2023, held at Rochester Animal Services (“the Event”), I agree to the following terms and conditions: 

Sponsors agree not to bring personal pets to the Event. Sponsors agree not to sell or give away animals at the Event.

As a Sponsor of The Fast & The Furriest® 2023, held at Rochester Animal Services (“the Event”), I agree to the following terms and conditions: 

Sponsors are not permitted to solicit donations for their organization, or any other organization, besides the VSAS or the City at the Event.

As a Sponsor of The Fast & The Furriest® 2023, held at Rochester Animal Services (“the Event”), I agree to the following terms and conditions: 

VSAS and the City do not guarantee any profits or revenues based on Sponsor’s participation in the Event.

As a Sponsor of The Fast & The Furriest® 2023, held at Rochester Animal Services (“the Event”), I agree to the following terms and conditions: 

VSAS and the City do not guarantee category exclusivity for Sponsors at the Event.
