MainStreet Truth or Consequences is excited to be collaborating with the Sierra County Arts Council and The Bountiful Alliance Recycling Committee to produce their 5th annual Recycled Art Show, scheduled 4th – 16th November 2023.

Money raised will go towards two awards: SCAT Cats who recently placed 5th in the North American NFC Envirothon, and the Jan Thedford Scholarship, which is given to a High School graduate who intends to pursue a career in the Environmental Sciences.

There will be a kickoff event on November 4th and a prize for the Recycled Art People’s Choice to be presented at a closing event on November 15th, America Recycles Day. These will be held at two different venues and are open to everyone.

Deadline to complete this form: October 19th, 2023 either electronically or email / hand them in to Cathy at MainStreet Office (410 Main Street. Hours open M/T/W 9 - 11am and TH/F 10am - 12pm)

Please note:

1. All art must be donated and all venues displaying recycled art agree to forgo commissions on sales
2. You will need to maintain a regular schedule during this event (November 4th - 16th) and provide your hours to MainStreet T or C so we can include them in a map created for this event
3. You will need to be open during Second Saturday Art Hop on November 11th
4. Please accept only cash or checks for payment. Steve Green, a member of the Recycling Committe, will collect the money on November 16th. Checks to be made out to The Bountiful Alliance Recycling Committee
5. You will need to be open on Friday November 3rd for artists to set up their work. We will be staggering the set up times across all venues and we will confirm your time slot the week of October 23rd
6. Art will either be collected by the buyer, or the artist if unsold, on November 16th
