Come one, come all for a fascinating look at a little known group of women who programmed the first real computer - known as ENIAC - during and after World War 2. One of our new congregants, Kathy Kleiman, uncovered the story a decade ago and has just published the story of these pioneers in a new book, Proving Ground.
Mark Massey, Kathy's husband and project collaborator, will present an hour-long program to Kol Ami on Sunday, November 13 from 4:00-5:00 pm. It will take place in the upstairs Board Room of the UU. Mark will show a short documentary that he and Kathy produced, provide background, and answer your questions. (You can glean some insight in the meantime
here at their website.)
