Medhavi Foundation is a Section 25 company and a National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) funded training partner. In partnership with NSDC and several state governments through their respective State Skill Missions, Medhavi has skill- trained and placed 1,50,000+ candidates in various sectors in the past 10 years. Our programs range across various levels of the National Skills Qualifications Framework and cater to a wide range of learner segments ranging school dropouts and diploma holders, to undergraduates and graduates, working professionals and artisans.
NASSCOM Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-religious organization established under Indian Trust Act. NASSCOM Foundation is a voluntary organization focused on improving the quality of life of individuals by imparting information technology & computer related skills development and training among women and youth.
Medhavi Foundation in association with NASSCOM Foundation has joined hands to reach out to underserved youth to enhance the technical capabilities and digital learning and provide employment assistance. Medhavi Foundation & NASSCOM Foundation are taking collective efforts to bring positive change by giving the time and resources to provide essential skills to thousands of youths and contribute to reducing the skill gap that India is facing at large. This programme is a comprehensively designed specifically targeting marginalized youth of Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities including the semi- urban towns, to enhance technology acumen in them and improve their employability and job placement assistance for the beneficiaries upon successful completion of the programme.
Medhavi Foundation has been given the responsibility to mobilize and train 10,000 marginalized final year students from different colleges/ universities for the Skilling Digitally Excellent Communities programme. Medhavi Foundation shall do end-to-end program management for the programme along with wrap-around training on employability skills. A minimum 30% women candidates from Economically Weaker Section of the society shall be part of the initiative. People from PwD & LGBTQAI shall also be part of the enrolment agenda. All beneficiaries need to complete the Digital 101 Training which is for 13.5 hours (all modules need to be completed and quiz need to be passed with a minimum of 70% for getting the certificate; only two attempts of quiz). On successfully passing the Digital 101 Training, the beneficiaries shall get the opportunity to get trained in the following trades:
· Domestic Data Entry Operator
· Customer Care Executive (Domestic Non-Voice)
· Customer Care Executive (Domestic – Voice)
· Java Programmer
· C++ Programmer
· Python Programmer
· IT and Cybersecurity
· Game Design, AR & VR
None of the beneficiaries need to pay any fee for undergoing the training programme as it is a CSR initiative of NASSCOM Foundation, considering the welfare and career growth of the marginalized youth.
Training will be done on mobile application by Ministry of electronics and information technology
