As Staff of the University of Michigan, we are deeply troubled by the University administration’s inadequate handling of the return to in-person instruction, the aggressive legal action taken against our own graduate students who were on strike through September 16, and the threats of retaliation made against striking Resident Advisors (RAs). We stand in solidarity with the Graduate Employees Organization (GEO), RAs, and other members of the University of Michigan community, here and abroad, who are striking, organizing, and speaking out about the University administration’s actions.
