2.2 Rated Level Bug Fixes
Given the recent updates to physics in Geometry Dash 2.2, there are some inevitable new bugs. This is due to many systems being rewritten for consistency.
As an example, slopes were very sensitive to different refresh rates before 2.2. Now, they act the same regardless of your settings. However, this has the unfortunate consequence of making certain old levels harder or impossible.
These issues have been known about since the beta. We have decided to fix old levels' issues manually rather than have RobTop attempt to recreate the old and inconsistent systems. Submitting a level in this form will help us pinpoint the levels that need to be fixed.
When submitting a level, please understand that we will only be fixing rated levels that are impossible or significantly more difficult than they were prior to update 2.2.
To our ability, we will be reaching out to a level's creator when fixing their levels to make sure the fixes can be done in a way that they support.
We will only be changing the minimum amount required to make the level possible on the updated physics. There will be no changes to a level's artistic integrity. As an example, an impossible part due to the slope changes may be fixed with a tiny invisible slope extension.
