St. Pius CYO Sports Registration
IMPORTANT INFORMATION (especially for non-Catholic players):

While we welcome all children to play, it is a Diocesan mandate that teams are composed of a minimum of 2/3 ratio of parishioners and that parishioners are given priority registration.

Priority in registration is given to players in the following order:
1. returning parishioners
2. new parishioners
3. returning non-parishioners
4. new non-parishioners
Players who are parishioners at a Catholic Church that does not have a CYO program are considered parishioners for the purpose of team make-up.

Non-Catholic and non-parishioner players should register as early as possible for the best chance of being placed on a team. However, your spot cannot be guaranteed until Regular Registration ends.

COACH PREFERENCE will be honored as much as possible, while complying with the above requirements.

TEAM SIZE: Basketball teams will be limited to 12 players, in order to ensure enough play time for each player. Register early for the best opportunity to get placed on a team. Additional teams may be added if there are enough players and adequate gym time for practices.

VOLUNTEERING FOR BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT: if you have a basketball player, you are required to volunteer during the St. Pius Basketball Tournament. Exact dates to be determined.
