Prior to the December graduation commencement ceremony, graduating seniors, and their families, along with faculty and staff will be invited to a breakfast in the business building. This is a great time to take photos, celebrate accomplishments, and a time for families to connect with faculty and staff who have made significant impact in the lives of students.
At the breakfast, we will have a student speaker who will share their story of resiliency. We want to celebrate a student's story that is moving, that shows celebration of family or friends, and tells a story of resiliency.
Who can nominate a student for Resilient Senior Speaker?
- Any faculty, staff, or student that has seen a student overcome adversities or has overcome adversity themselves (self-nomination)
Who attends the Senior Breakfast?
- Students and their families graduating from the College of Business, as well as faculty and staff.
When is the Senior Breakfast?
Nominations are due November 10, 2023. One speaker will be selected and recognized at the senior breakfast to speak. Other nominees may be featured on social media with their permission.
