MVZ Tour Request Form
The Museum of Vertebrate Zoology is primarily a research facility that is closed to the public. There are no regular tours given nor are there exhibits displayed within the Museum.

Professors and graduate students on the UC Berkeley campus can request a tour of the museum's research collections for their UCB class. Classes over 15 people will need to be split up into sub-groups for concurrent or successive tours and will require multiple guides. Ideally, we should be contacted at the beginning of the semester or at least 1 month in advance. Staff curators are in charge of pulling and reinstalling specimens, and we have limited staff resources, so please consider this when requesting a visit that requires specimens to be pulled for class exercises.

Requests for tours by UCB student clubs and associations, as well as groups outside of UC Berkeley will only be accommodated if a volunteer guide can be found to lead it. Max group size is 15 people. All tours are given during our business hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

In lieu of a tour, please consider visiting the museum on Cal Day: http://mvz.berkeley.edu/CalDay.html
