This form is part of a research project to understand the Caribbean diaspora's relationship to their region of origin. The aim of this survey is to gather data to make policy recommendations on how the governments of the region can cultivate better relationships and engagement with their diasporas. By successfully completing a valid form the participant qualifies to be registered into a raffle where four random participants will win a cash prize of USD $25.
The survey is broken into three parts: Demographics, Relationships, and Raffle. The Demographics portion of the survey seeks to understand who you are as a person. The Relationships section seeks to understand how you relate to region. The Raffle section asks you to select how you'd like to receive your winnings in the event you win.
This data collected in this survey will remain completely anonymous. By completing this survey, you consent to have it used as part of a research project. Unless you enter the raffle, we do not collect your email address. After the winners are chosen at random, email data will be deleted.

Clarifying notes:
- For the purposes of this survey, 'country of origin' will always refer to the place you were born if you were born in the Caribbean, or will refer to the country your parents or grandparents were born in if you were born in the Diaspora.
About me:
I am a Caribbean-American dual citizen who is interested in seeing our region develop to be one of the best places to work and live. I want to contribute to that effort by increasing the amount of available data and information policy makers, business people, and the community at large has to work with. Additionally, I want to analyze data to provide insights that can help guide policy choices, investment decisions, and make all players involved more aware about the state of the region. Just as this initiative was started by one person, I hope it inspires others to take initiatives of their own to better their own lives, their nation, and the region as a whole.
