United Way honors volunteers in Whitfield and Murray counties whose service has exemplified a commitment to bring hope, promise, and opportunity to the lives of others. The minimum hour requirement for a Presidential Volunteer Service Award and United Way’s competitive adult awards are 100 hours. Recipients who are nominated will have the opportunity of being awarded the Elaine Butler or Connie Woodward Award for outstanding volunteerism. Recipients will be awarded annually during our Virtual Volunteer Awards Ceremony in April 2024.
