An In-Depth Look at the Best Math Practices
The presentation will examine evidence based math practices that work and explain why they are successful while detailing how to make implementation stick. We will discuss how to deliver high quality explicit instruction to students, used engaging concrete models, and describe the impact that regular number line usage can make in elementary and middle school classrooms. All materials and information is meant to benefit students who struggle with mathematics/specific learning disabilities but can benefit all learners.
This training will be held on February 21, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the ROE #3 Professional Development Center. Registration begins at 12:00 p.m. Each participant will receive 3.0 PD hours. The cost to attend this training is $25/person and drinks/snacks will be provided.
