Arroyo-Fall 2020-2021 After-school Academy Registration Form                              
Your child is invited to attend the Arroyo Fall Academy On-The-Go program. This is an exciting hands-on STEM learning opportunity that provides at-home activities outside of school hours. Each registered student will pick up a learning kit (it's yours to keep) on September 14, September 28, October 19, November 9, and November 23. There is no cost for your child to participate in this program. It is highly encouraged that your child will have access to a computer and internet to participate in this program. A confirmation email will be sent to you prior to the program start date with important details.

Su hijo(a) está invitado a asistir al programa de ‘Academy On-The-Go’ de Otoño en Arroyo. Esta es una oportunidad de aprendizaje STEM práctico y emocionante que provee actividades para hacer en casa fuera del horario escolar. Cada estudiante inscrito recogerá un kit de aprendizaje (es suyo para quedárselo) en 14 de septiembre, 28 de septiembre, 19 de octubre, 9 de noviembre, 23 de noviembre. No hay ningún costo para que su hijo(a) participe en este programa. Se recomienda fuertemente que su hijo(a) tenga acceso a una computadora e internet para participar en este programa. Se les enviará un correo de confirmación antes de la fecha de inicio del programa con detalles importantes.

By registering for the Academy On-The-Go program, I will do the following to encourage my child to succeed:                                
1) Pick up the STEM BOX at school during the specified time 2) Encourage my child to complete each suggested activity 3) Encourage my child to participate in the on-line Google Classroom through Google Meets while managing proper digital citizenship as outlined in the WESD student handbook   4) Contact my child’s ASA teacher if my child will be absent, unable to pick up STEM materials,  if we have any questions or concerns about the suggested activities 5) Submit a picture to my child’s ASA teacher for the culminating activity as requested. 6) I understand that my child’s Google Meet will be recorded.  Space is limited.
                                           
Al inscribirlo(a) en el programa de ‘Academy On-The-Go’, haré lo siguiente para animar a mi hijo(a) a tener éxito: 1) Recogeré la CAJA STEM de la escuela durante el tiempo especificado 2) Animaré a mi hijo(a) a completar cada actividad sugerida 3) Animaré a mi hijo(a) a participar en el ‘Google Classroom’ en línea mediante ‘Google Meets’ mientras  superviso ciudadanía digital apropiada como se describe en el manual estudiantil del WESD 4) Contactaré al maestro de ASA de mi hijo(a) si mi hijo(a) estará ausente, si no podrá recoger los materiales STEM, si tenemos cualesquier preguntas o preocupaciones en cuanto a las actividades sugeridas 5) Enviaré una fotografía al maestro de ASA de mi hijo(a) para la actividad final según sea solicitado. 6) Entiendo que el ‘Google Meet’ de mi hijo(a) será grabado.  El espacio es limitado.
