CMTC20 Participant Survey Virtual Conference
CMTC20 has a new "tagline" ~ SHIFTS HAPPEN!!!  As we all look to the fall of 2020 with more questions than answers regarding what teaching and learning will look like, CMTC20 has decided to offer its content via virtual sessions the week of January 11th. We have postponed our keynote by Kate Darling on robotics in the classroom until the fall of 2021 and replaced it with an opening keynote panel of renown educators ~ Karen, Hess, Rose Colby, Daniel Joseph discussing a more relevant topic, "Shifts Happen: New CBE Opportunities with Remote Learning".

We are in the process of determining the specifics and we seek your input on what you envision would work best for you.  We all know this is a "best guess" situation and very much appreciate your input.

Upon determining the specific times for concurrent sessions and hands-on workshops we will relaunch the online Call for Presenters with the new schedule included.

Please reply to the survey by THIS Friday, August 28th.  Thanks for helping us make "SHIFTS HAPPEN" happen as smoothly as possible!

Concurrent Sessions
Concurrent sessions will continue to be 50 minutes long with an additional 10 minutes or so for Q&A.  We are thinking about concurrent sessions being offered throughout the day on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.   Please provide your input on which times of the day would be best for you.  We are asking that you select your top THREE choices, keeping in mind we will be tweaking these times based upon the feedback we receive.  None of these times are final.
How many virtual concurrent sessions do you envision you would participate in synchronously on a given conference day? (We anticipate that all sessions will be recorded and archives posted for future reference.)

Virtual Hands-on Workshops
We are exploring the option of offering virtual hands-on workshops potentially on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.   These hands-on workshops are intended to dive deeper in specific processes, applications, and/or digital resources.  We are planning 2-hour morning and afternoon sessions   There will be no additional charge for these workshops, but preregistration will be required. Would you consider attending one of these longer, hands-on workshops if one of interest to you is offered?
