6th Grade Music Participation (2023-2024)
As your child prepares to move up to Valley Central Middle School, we would like to invite them to participate in the music performance program. 6th graders may elect to join band, chorus, or both. Chorus and band are both full year academic courses with specific expectations and requirements, and your child will receive a grade from their ensemble director. Rehearsals will be part of your child’s course schedule, and weekly pullout instrumental lessons will be arranged for band students. Please submit a copy of the form for each 5th grader in your household.

The middle school music teachers are eagerly awaiting the chance to meet and welcome your family to 6th grade. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or your child's current music teacher.
