Our “Crawlunteers” are crucial to the operation of our organization—this year, more than ever. We are pleased to offer an in-person Culture Crawl experience, as we continue to connect artists, craftspeople, and designers with the community. Now in its 27th year, the Eastside Culture Crawl offers unparalleled, intimate access for artists and the community to connect through open studio weekends, exhibits, workshops & demos, and artists talks.

- Contribute to the diversity and vibrancy of the visual arts community in Vancouver

- Get insight into the behind-the-scenes of running an arts festival

2023 Festival DatesNovember 16–19
Thu & Fri 5–10pm / Sat & Sun 11am–6pm
Duties this year include:
- Ambassadors: Handing out programs and providing festival information to attendees across the Crawl territory, counting attendees and/or ensuring safety supplies (hand sanitizer) and festival materials (maps) are available to attendees and studios (Nov 16-19)
- Donation Kiosk Support: Taking tap donations at Parker or Mergatroid Studios, sharing benefits of donating and answering questions during the festival (Nov 16-19)
- Festival Info Tent: Welcoming and directing attendees; giving out information & maps; selling merchandise; handling lost & found items; first aid assistance as necessary (Nov 16-19)
- Distribution: Distribution of save-the-date cards and posters to community gathering spaces (Sept-Oct-Nov)
- Event support: Support fundraising events with food and beverage service, set up and take down (early November)
Please note all volunteers must be 19+.
Volunteers are asked to attend a Volunteer Information session in October. Date TBD.
