The Secret Lives of Our Backyard Raptors: Monitoring and Managing for Beneficial Predators
Apr 20 (Thu) 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Join Harris Center Bird Conservation Director Phil Brown for an evening devoted to raptors — specifically, the forest-dwelling Broad-winged Hawk and the field-loving American Kestrel. Learn to identify these beneficial predators, explore their life histories and habitat needs, and discover how to attract them to your own backyard. Phil will also provide an overview of the Harris Center’s recent efforts to monitor and protect these two species in the Monadnock Region. 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Jaffrey Civic Center.

For more information, contact Phil Brown.

Co-sponsored with the Jaffrey Conservation Commission, as part of Jaffrey’s 250th Anniversary Celebration.
