2021 South Loop Farmers Market Vendor Application
Thank you for considering the South Loop Farmers Market (SLFM) this year! Since 2015, SLFM has been a catalyst in pushing forward the local food movement in Chicago's diverse and growing South Loop community. We are looking forward to our 7th annual market season and would love to have you join our growing family of vendors.

The SLFM team is dedicated to and passionate about helping small farmers and food businesses thrive and we're excited to announce that SLFM will now be managing two markets at different locations in Chicago's South Loop. SLFM will also provide a virtual market offering pre-order pickup and at-home delivery year-round, powered by the WhatsGood platform.

You DO NOT have to apply to all SLFM markets. Vendors that take part in both outdoor markets will receive a discounted rate (one market free).

Again, you DO NOT have to apply to all markets, but vendors that choose to take part in all markets will be strongly considered and vendors that take part in both outdoor markets will receive a discounted rate (one market free).

Our markets will serve our diverse and booming South Loop/Near South community. PDNA (the south loop’s leading community organization) will also be endorsing and supporting our independent markets.

SLFM will accept vendors selling a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers, baked goods, meats, prepared & ready-to-eat foods, and relevant non-food items. We prioritize vendor applicants who make their product or source their materials locally and/or ethically, including farmers who prioritize regenerative practices. SLFM chooses vendors based on product quality and sustainable business practices (environmentally & culturally).

The market will also include COVID-19 compliant children’s activities and programming (wellness/education, literary, and music).

Limited parking (first come first serve) will be available for all vendors at their own risk.

Applications are due by Monday, April 5, 2021. This includes all supporting documents. Applications that are submitted after April 5, 2021 may be subject to an additional fee.

Electronic submission of this application and all supporting documents (via email to stephanie@southloopfarmersmarket.com) is required. Incomplete applications and applications without any accompanying requested documents (or without confirmed arrangements for said documents by SLFM management) will not be read or considered.
