Academics: (MUST provide a copy of unoffical transcripts or 2023-2024 report card)

Exceptional
Student: The individual must
display exemplary academic standing, 3.4 GPA, and nothing less than a “C”.

Emerging Student: This category is given to a student who, through use of their
natural talents and acquired skills, has demonstrated a commitment toward
meeting higher academic goals.

Most
Improved Student: This
category recognizes a student that has made outstanding strides in improving
their academic standing.
Visual Arts: The applicant must provide visual aid that will display and communicate their achievements and success in painting, drawing, or any form of visual arts.
Entrepreneurship: Information about the business, how many years the young adult has been in business, service/product they provide and how their business benefits the consumer/community.
Community Service: (Minimum of 20 hours) The individual must communicate an area(s) in which they are providing a service to an individual, group or organization. Supporting documents must communicate number of years, time and talents have been donated to a specific cause(s); goals and outcomes applicant wishes to accomplish through their service.
Music: This category includes various forms of the arts including music, dance, and vocal. The applicant must provide in this area supporting documents that will display and communicate their designated achievements and success.
Peer Mentor: This individual has or is mentoring another student to help them improve and achieve. Doesn't have to be in your school district.
Servant in Ministry: Information must be provided about the individual’s involvement in ministerial activities, the length of time serving, the impact and the goals the individual wishes to accomplish serving in this capacity.
Leadership: The individual demonstrates qualities of decision making and leading others through participation in programs and/or services where exemplary qualities of integrity are displayed when creating positive change.
Overcomer: The individual has overcome some type of obstacle or overcame diversity in their home or school life.
Love Thy Neighbor: The applicant must have provided assistance in their neighborhood, by helping out, and making things a little easier.
