Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color (MnACC), established in 1991, is a noncompetitive post-secondary collaborative dedicated to improving access to higher education for Minnesota's students of color.
MnACC is excited to provide scholarships to Minnesota students who identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx/Hispanic, or Asian. Recipients of the Continuing Student Scholarship will receive a one-time award of $1,000 to be used towards their education at a MnACC Member Institution during the 2023-2024 academic year. Eligibility
- Must identify as Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color (BIPOC)
- Must have graduated from a Minnesota high school in the Spring 2021 or earlier
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0
- Must be currently enrolled full time at a MnACC Member Institution https://www.mnacc.org/directory
- Must be graduating from a 4-year college or university after Spring 2023 OR
- If currently attending a community college, you have completed at least one year as a full time student OR
- If currently attending a community college, has intentions of transferring to a 4-year public or private MnACC member institution.
PSEO students are not eligible for this scholarship
Past MnACC Scholarship recipients are not eligible for the Continuing Student Scholarship
Graduate students are not eligible for the Continuing Student Scholarship

Please note: we DO NOT ask about citizenship status. We encourage undocumented, refugee, aslyees, and DACA recipients to apply.
In addition to the google form application, students must submit the required essay, letter of recommendation, and a copy of your unofficial college transcript by the deadline.
