STHM Change of Major Process

Welcome to the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM)! We are so happy you are interested in changing into our school.

Please follow the below steps in order of sequence. Failure to do so will result in a delay of your change of major request being processed:

1. Determine which major and concentration best fit your interests/career goals for the future on the Undergraduate Bulletin: https://bulletin.temple.edu/undergraduate/tourism-hospitality-management/.

2. Meet with Assistant Dean, Dr. Heather Blackburn, heather.blackburn@temple.edu.

3. After meeting with Dr. Blackburn, consult with your stakeholders (i.e. parents, family, etc.) about the potential change of program (i.e. higher tuition rate, Fly-in-4 implications, required internships and industry hours, etc.)

4. If you have determined you wish to declare a major in STHM, complete this form.

A STHM Center for Student Services (CSS) representative will review your academic records and provide next steps. Please allow up to two weeks for processing.
