Youth United is committed to fostering a positive, supportive, and judgment-free environment where all members can grow and connect. To maintain these high standards and ensure a meaningful experience, we ask for your commitment to the following expectations:

Behavioral Standards:

Use respectful language and refrain from profanity at all meetings and events.
Dress in accordance with the St. Lucie County School District's dress code.
Interact respectfully with peers, adults, and the public.

Communication and Participation:

Maintain your own email account and regularly check and respond to Youth United emails.
Join and actively participate in two WhatsApp groups ("YU Members" & "YU Families"), checking and responding to messages within 48 hours.
Ensure reliable transportation to attend meetings and activities. Communication in the group chat to coordinate rides or carpooling is welcomed.

Commitment:

Consistently attend Youth United meetings and activities. If unable to attend, notify Morgan Balsley as early as possible.
Engage in regular, clear, and timely communication. Consistent communication is crucial and neglect may affect your membership status.

Expectations:

Attend at least one Home Meeting and one volunteer event each month.
Check WhatsApp regularly and respond to polls within 48 hours.
Communicate any absences or attendance changes promptly.
Actively participate in all YU events; engagement is required for volunteer hours.
Arrive on time for events; early arrival for Home Meetings is encouraged if you wish to socialize.
Show courtesy and respect during all discussions.
Check in and out with Morgan Balsley or the supervising adult at all events.
