Please fill out the attached application, once we receive it and verify your eligibility, we may mail you more pageant information and confirmation to participate. Judge interviews and pageant practice will be on Monday, June 19th, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m., in the Festival Tent. The night of the pageant, there will be three segments: Nautical Wear, Evening Wear and Question/Answer.

For the Nautical Wear segment, each contestant is to put together an outfit that symbolizes life on Anchor Bay (creativity is encouraged). The Evening Wear segment consists of each contestant's choice of her own formal attire. For the Question/Answer segment, each contestant will be asked to answer one question on stage. Finally, each contestant will meet individually with each judge during pageant practice, prior to the pageant, and will be given scores on personality, poise, confidence, etc.

1. Single ladies, 16-19 years of age by the date of the pageant
2. Contestant's principal residence must be located in the Anchor Bay School District
3. Contestant must never have been married nor have children.
4. Contestant must be present for all practice rehearsals or judge interviews or otherwise be excused. (1-2 practices will be held)
5. Contestants are responsible to provide any outfits necessary for the pageant. Bay-Rama, Inc. will supply Miss Bay-Rama and her Court with a formal dress to wear after the pageant.
6. The Bay-Rama Queen and her Court should plan to attend all scheduled parades throughout the summer (approx. 3) and the winter lighted parades (approx. 3) or provide an acceptable replacement.
7. The Bay-Rama Queen and her Court should plan to attend and participate at the Bay-Rama Fishfly Festival and in selected functions representing Bay-Rama (During the Festival: Kids Day, Princess & Pirates event, Cardboard Boat Race, the Queen's Breakfast and the Grand parade, and they are encouraged to make appearances at the festival throughout the week.) During the year they are asked to participate in the following community events: City of New Baltimore Awards Dinner & New Baltimore Christmas Tree Lighting.
8. The Bay-Rama Queen and her court are encouraged to be social media ambassadors for Bay-Rama and the Fishfly Festival. Promote yourself and the organization in positive and inspirational ways.
