Consumers and Social Equity in Transportation Electrification.
Breakout Session: Residential and Multi-Unit Dwellings – with and without dedicated parking.

The goal of the Breakout Groups is to brainstorm all potential ideas on the use case assigned, and to come to a consensus on potential pathways/guidelines for the use case, as it relates to Consumer and Social Equity. Other sub-topical areas may and should emerge during these discussion sessions and should be included in the recommendations from the group.

The following facilitative questions are intended to enable discussion for the small breakout group sessions:

Pilots, Programs, and Partnerships
        What are some themes/ traits well-designed utility programs? (i.e., best practices, considerations for designing for Illinois, etc.)

Public Policy
        What are some characteristics of best practices for public policy that support transportation electrification? (i.e., champions, stakeholders, partnerships, role of public/private sectors, etc.)

Economic Considerations, Tariff / Rate Design
        What are some traits of well-designed economic best practices for transportation electrification? (i.e., business models, economic development opportunities, tariff and rate designs, etc.)

In person groups and remote participants will use the digital platform to submit the brainstorming and consensus building work from the Breakout Session. Any paper documents from the session should be turned into the organizers. This should all be submitted within the 40 minutes of the Breakout Session and prior to Reporting Back.
